The hotel ‘ASTERIAS STUDIOS-APARTMENTS’ is located in the Nortwestern coast of Crete, in the prefecture of Chania and in the heart of the beautiful burg ‘Kalyves’, which belongs to the Municipality of ‘Armenoi’ – between Chania (18km) and Rethymnon (40 km).

The distance between our hotel and the port is 12 km and it is 24 km to reach the airport. It is built in the eastern end of the bay of Souda, next to the river ‘Ksidas’, just on the magnificent, sandy beach, where the full green colour of nature, the blue-green of the Cretan Open Sea and of the rivers as well as the White Mountains across, create contrasts which make the scenery oneiric and unique.

The four apartments which can accommodate 2 to 4 people each and the 2 studios ideal for 2 persons and 1 child, are all spacious and beautifully decorated, with luminous colours and plain taste, as well as accompanied with a friendly and cozy atmosphere by the owners. All the above guarantee the visitors a pleasant and comfortable stay.

All apartments and studios dispose a TV, air-conditioning or a fan, a private balcony - most of them with a view of the sea and the garden – a bathroom with a bath or a shower and a hair dryer, a beautiful kitchen fully equipped with a refrigerator, a cooker, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils as well as coffee, tea, or juice which are free of charge.

For children less than 2 years of age there are always free of charge little beds available, for more comfortable sleeping.

The hotel also has a very well taken care of garden with a little pond in it, surrounded with green plants and enchanting fuchsia bougainvillea. In addition, there is also a roof garden with a shady trellis and a splendid view where a coffee or a drink can be savored and where the visitor can ‘travel away’ with the view of the Cretan Pelagon.

In a spread of a few meters from the hotel, one can have 2 banks available ( Agrotiki Bank and Pancretia Bank), super markets, a bakery, laundry, hair salon, restaurants, taverns, cafeterias, pizzerias, internet cafes, a fax/ photocopy machine place, car/ motorbike rentals, an interurban bus stop as well as a spacious public parking lot.

Anyone may start their day enjoying their self made breakfast on the veranda of their room, go on by taking a refreshing swim at the beach which lies just before them with its crystal clear waters – absolutely appropriate and safe for young children- or sunbathing on one of the sun beds available along the beach , which are not charged.

Last but not least, in one of the taverns along the beach, you can not only savor traditional Cretan cuisine but also taste recipes of the broader Greek Mediterranean gastronomy, made with pure products of the Cretan land.
